paul fisher Posted September 12, 2021 Share Posted September 12, 2021 well had the timing chain and head rebuilt after the timing chain failed got the call to pick up my car when i arrived at the garage the mechanic told me the eml light has come on due to the o2 sensors going bad so I've changed both o2 sensors for new genuine bosh sensors and the fault codes are still there can anybody shed any light on my problem please Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stevey Y Posted September 12, 2021 Share Posted September 12, 2021 Hi did the mechanic tell you when you fit the new sensor you have to do the adaptations after clearing the fault codes the clue is in the fault frequency and not confirmed, tested since memory CLEAR, put the codes to bed and do the sensor adaptations I am pretty sure it will be fine.
