Hello everyone

Looks like I’m getting a A4, TDI 2.0 Diesel

Cars a beast, but took me 5 mins to learn how to start it 😆, there’s that much stuff on them

Hoping for many years motoring with it

Need to know one thing though, when is the right time to replace the cam belts on them?

Hi Karl

When I got my A6 I spent many an hour sitting in the car on the driveway pressing buttons etc. I have a system now for starting from cold. Foot off brake. Press start button (warms up heaters) Put on seat belt. Foot on brake. Press button, engine starts. I have only just managed to download something into the juke box and I have had it nearly a year.

Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂

I think the Cambelt needs changing at 120k or 5 years which ever comes first

Cheers chaps

Spoke to the today and they are going to do it if I pay half towards costs

I don’t mind, at least it gets it done and saved worrying about it

Sounds good. Make sure the water pump gets changed at the same time.
