Clicking noise when locking/unlocking car

I have a 2018 RS3 sportback. This clicking noise happens when I use the key fob to lock and unlock the doors.

Does anyone have any idea what this is?

If the car is still under warranty it's definitely worth getting Audi to take a look. I appreciate that's unlikely as we're nearly at the end of 2021 now.

I’ve got warranty but not an Audi. Managed to get it booked in this week so hopefully get more of an idea what’s wrong. Heard it could possibly be the boot lock actuator.

Yep it could be thinking about it. Or a relay or module

Did you ever confirm the cause?
 

I've noticed the same happening with my 2017 RS3.
