AkhiB7 Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Hi, my car drives fine once I get it started and it's up to temp. And throughout the day it's starts up fine even if the engine cools down. My problem is when I leave it over night and go to start it in the morning. And the outside temp is below 5°c it starts and cuts out straight away. I have to try start it with my foot planted on the accelerator multiple times before it holds idle. This morning the outside temp is -3° and after trying for about 15 mins I've given up. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone know how to fix it? I'd really appreciate any help I could get I'm a new diesel owner so I don't know much about them
Magnet Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 Petrol or diesel Akhi? Can we take it the battery turns the engine over ‘enthusiastically’? Kind regards, Gareth.

Kind regards, Gareth. It's a diesel, and yeah the battery turns the car over. I've done a bit of searching online and had a few opinions here and there. I think it just needs a new set of glow plugs or maybe has a faulty injector line But any advice would be appreciated thanks Gareth I've attached a video of what is doing PXL_20211129_082424805.mp4 Akhi
