a2tecK Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 (edited) Hi All, Firstly I wanted to thank anyone participating in this topic. I have recently bought A4 Technik 2011 (CJCB). Seller told me that he installed headlights from SLine. It was not a problem for me as headlights worked fine initially. Then after some time I have realised that I can't adjust light level from cabin but worst part is that I can't use Audi's headlight converter (changes lamp shape from RHD to LHD and vice versa). I did connect VCDS and I am stuck on 55 - Headlight Range module (can't communicate). My question is: Am I missing module for Sline headlights? Or maybe I do have to "code" them in? It's my first Audi and I would appreciate someone's more experienced opinion. Regards, a2tecK. Edited December 7, 2021 by a2tecK No reason :)
Steve Q Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 I believe they have to be coded in. But it's definitely worth checking to see what module you should have in conjunction with the headlights.
a2tecK Posted December 9, 2021 Author Posted December 9, 2021 Okay. Any clue how to? Where in VCDS can I do that? Also, how can I check what module should I have? Thanks.
Steve Q Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 I've found these links which might help: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/led-headlight-upgrade-can-anyone-help.265373/ https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/audi-a4-facelift-b8-5-halogen-to-factory-bi-xenon.299898/
a2tecK Posted December 9, 2021 Author Posted December 9, 2021 Thanks Steve. Those links will definitely help me. Looks like I got everything in except coding. I will have fun with VCDS today. I will report success and/or failure. Once again cheers Bro!

But I'm glad the links will be useful ☺️ please keep us posted on how you get on 👍
