pdmgough Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 (edited) Hello I have an odd issue. I changed the oil and filter on my A1 1.4 TFSI and there was an oil pressure warning. I checked and inside the housing on the engine where the oil filter screws into is a rubber sleeve or gasket. Seems the top of this, where it has a lip or shoulder that sits on the top and meets up with the rubber seal on the filter has a small split in it and leaks when under engine pressure. It is removable quite easily. I went to Audi and apparently it does not exist, so am unable to find a replacement. Has anyone had experience with this as I cannot drive the car as it gives low oil pressure warning and tells me to turn engine off. Regards Paul Edited December 7, 2021 by pdmgough

Regards Paul Hi sorry you will have to buy a new filter as the sealing ring comes with the filter, or are we talking of a split in the metal housing in which case they are bolted to the engine and are replaceable even if its a second hand unit, it will help a lot if you can pst a picture of the offending split. Steve.
