are 6 speed DSG gearbox in Audi A3 8P considered more relieable than the 7 speeds ones?

It seems most issues and complains related to DSG Mechatronic issues are for 7 Speed models and not 6 speed ones.

With the dsg gearbox the most important thing regarding it's reliability is it's serving schedule. Degrading/old oil can cause the box to stop shifting gears. Usually reverse.
