petnugen Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 My Q5 is coming up to 3 years old very soon and I am toying with the idea of extended warranty. I got a quote of about £400 for the all inclusive which in itself has exclusions mostly wear surfaces as expected. 33k miles 2.0 TDI Q5 is it worth bothering with extended warranty or not? As I need to own it for the next 2 years on PCP approx I could get the 3 year extention.
Steve Q Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 Is the warranty a genuine Audi one or is it an independent one? If it's an independent one then I wouldn't bother as they're not worth the paper they're written on. However an Audi one at £400 I think is good value.
petnugen Posted January 12, 2022 Author Posted January 12, 2022 It is via the Audi website so all above board, well with the usual caveats via Audi finance.
Steve Q Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 That's good then. Just check the small print to see what's not covered.
