Military Man Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Hi, new here. Long story cut short. Daughters vehicle needed new injector. All done, road test OK untill the turbo failed to respond after about 20 miles. OBD saying "Fuel volume regulator controll-open circuit. Replaced fuel rail complete with sensors either end. No change & no fault codes. Any ideas please ? Apart from a gallon of petrol and a box of matches ! Thanks 🤪
Steve Q Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Have you had a diagnostic check? My dad had a 1.6tdi a3 company car where the turbo failed at 30k. Might be worth considering the turbo.

Thanks Steve. In all fairness it could be any of those things. I will keep investigating. The vehicle is coming up to 10 years old with 108K on the clock. Maindealer prices would kill it off, so good old dad has his spanners out again. What I was hoping to find was someone who had come across this problem before.
