Outer cluster LED not working

Hi, have a 2012 S line saloon, and the LED strip at the bottom of the outer cluster has stopped working. Couldn't find an obvious place to change the bulb so, purchased a second hand replacement cluster. it still doesn't work. 

any idea?

If either cluster doesn't work then it would lead me to think there's a wiring issue. You could have an auto electrician to take a look or get a diagnostic check.
