Hi all,

Last week, my Audi A3 8V 2015 1.4 TFSI started to develop a noticeable ticking sound in the engine area.  The car always have a ticking sound, but this time it appears to be more noticeable particularly in the cabin.  Please see video link of the issue:

The car had done 44700 miles and has been maintain in Audi dealership from new.  I believe is the cam belt need replacing, however would like to hear what you guys think it could be.

It would cost around 800 pounds to replace the cam belt in Audi dealership with lifetime MOT.  Independent Audi specialist would cost approx. 500 pounds.

It would be greatly appreciated to hear you thoughts on the above.

Many thanks,

Ambrose
