Mullz
I'm the new owner of the above car, it's a 58 reg but the 2009 model. 2 TDI SE. I've got a couple of queries for the more knowledgeable of you 馃槃 1) Firstly, I had the concert 3 with the display screen but without the connection in the glovebox. Does anyone know the cheapest way to get Bluetooth working with the factory kit but also keep the track skip controls etc, don't want hands free calling or anything. 2) It appears that the two rear doors lock with central locking but don't unlock from the fob, can't hear actuator on unlock but can on lock. Handle from inside works so not childlock. Checked the setting for single door and it's off. 3) When I get up to 60-70 I get this droning sound for 2 seconds in and out then normal for 2/3s then back again, it's very rhythmic. Happened apparently before and after clutch and flywheel replacement. Doesn't affect any performance. Cheers David
Darryl
David, my daughter recently bought a 2009 A4 Avant 2.0 tdi se. On hers all doors would lock with the fob but when unlocking the two front doors remained locked and had to be opened from the inside. Once opened the two front doors could be opened and closed normally but once locked with the fob they would not reopen apart from using the inside handle. I subsequently found that this is an incredibly common issue with Audi and can affect all doors.聽 It is possible to repair the door lock but I bought two brand new replacements ( probably Chinese ) from eBay for 拢54 and installed them. They were a direct replacement and worked first time. I will post a youtube video that I found useful. One last point, in order to remove the door lock assembly you need the correct 12 spline tool. A Torx will chew the nut up as it is the wrong tool. 聽 聽 Regards Darryl Edited February 12, 2022 by Darryl
Steve Q
Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 鈽猴笍 The easiest way to get Bluetooth is to change the head unit for one thst has apple car play/Android auto installed. Or alternatively get a parrot kit installed.聽 Darryl's advice on the doors is spot on.聽
