Alex Stevens Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 (edited) My Audi A3 2018 (Automatic Transmission) recently went in for a service at an independent garage and before the mini service the electronic parking brake automatically engaged when turning off the engine and opening the drivers door. I’ve noticed since the service that it has not been doing this and I have to manually engage the electronic parking brake, it no longer does this automatically. The garage claim they made no changes and are not sure what I am referring to. Looked in MMI and no settings I can see to fix this. Any ideas? Edited February 12, 2022 by Alex Stevens
Steve Q Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 This will need plugging in for diagnostics. Did the garage do any work on the rest brakes? As the handbrake should be put in service mode when works being carried out.
Alex Stevens Posted February 13, 2022 Author Posted February 13, 2022 I feel a bit stupid now - I found out the automatic hill hold button had been pressed to disengage it, so I enabled it again and it is now working as expected !
Steve Q Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 That's good, at least it was something simple 🙂
