dc99dc
Hi, I'm about to gat a A4 SE B9.5 - which has Parking system plus standard. I can find little or confusing information as to the extent of this items function. Does this function actually take over the steering on the car (where I have to accelerate and brake)? Or is it purely bumper sensors and reverse camera on the MMI? I may be asking the dealer the wrong way, but it seems to be confusing the answer i get. Other models in the Audi range show the car parking its self (with throttle an brake input from the driver). Can someone explain it to me? My current car has it and i do use it sometimes when i am looking at a tight parrelle parking spot and there is traffic behind me (for the speed in a once off manouver) so it can be handy. Steve Q
I do not believe it'll park itself. The system is just sensors on the mmi display. As per this link: https://www.audihelp.com/auda-72-audi_parking_system_plus.html There are YouTube videos for it too.
