Hi,

Yes I know this subject has probably been done to death, but in my experience, searches on forums with thousands of posts can be a bit of a nightmare.

Anyway; I'm thinking of moving from my S4 to an RS4 (Avant) and am wondering how important it is for the engine to have already had a clean. I'm looking at cars around the 40-45 thousand mile mark.

Any comments at all would be welcome.

Cheers, Ian.

Hi, by the look of the milage on the cars you are looking at I very much doubt they would need that sort of process as long as the car is run on decent fuel it should never need it I have looked at the process in depth and for what it actually removes its more of a placebo effect, save your money for a decent fuel additive which does the same thing and costs less.
