Air Temp Display

Hi

My 2017 A3 has a virtual cockpit screen and when I bought it I didn't notice that this came up where the outside air temperature should be (L21/3) I replaced the sensor behind the grill but this L21/3 still appears, doesn't change from it.

Have you had a diagnostic check carried out? 

It could be a wiring issue.

I've not had diagnostics done yet, wasn't sure if it had to go to Audi with a VagCom, or an ordinary garage could do it

Hi if you go to an ordinary garage and they have the later Snap on or Autocom  system that should flush out the relevant info.
