Jacqui Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Hi I have an Audi A4 1.9tdi from 1996. It's been running fine until recently. Now it keeps going into limp mode. I tried switching it on and off and that worked for a bit. Then it went into permanent limp mode. The MAF sensor has been replaced, the vacuum hoses have been replaced and the turbo has been cleaned. EGR valve has been cleaned. Now it is back to occasional limp mode. Diagnostics (ELM327) show no fault codes. Tearing my hair out! Does anyone have any ideas I haven't tried. Regards Jacqui
Steve Q Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 When you changed the turbo did you change the turbo hoses as they can leak. Also might be worth looking at the injectors maybe.
Jacqui Posted March 16, 2022 Author Posted March 16, 2022 Thanks for this. As far as we can see, there are no leaks in the turbo hoses, but will check again. Injectors next. Regards Jacqui
