Edimigo87
Hi Guys, My audi b7 has the xenon headlights installed. One flickers quite badly, and is badly condensated, replacements are too expensive at the moment for me (can't even find a passenger side one online) . £90 for bulb cheapest I can find and also ballasts are over £100. Plus the time and effort pulling the unit apart to clean and reseal. I can get my hands on 2x halogen headlight units for £70 pair. (Just to do until I get money to repair/replace the xenon one). Are these a straight forward swap out or do I need wiring harnesses etc for them to fit. Any advice is appericated.
Steve Q
They'll bolt in but you'll need the wiring harnesses and then coded to the car. The problem is it might cost more in the first place then change the bulbs or ballasts in the first place. You could always try and source second hand xenon headlights.
