Evening all

Is there a way of stopping the alarm that goes off when you open drivers door while car is on, really annoying

i totally agree with you,its very annoying!hopefully someone here may have a soloution.

I've got a similar issue. I've had various parts of the central locking looked at. I think in my case the CCM needs replacing. Does your central locking work ok?

Works fine yes

Including the remote locking? 

I'd definitely look at the battery first.

A failing battery can cause weird electrical issues. If the alarm is going off when the car door is opened then there's an issue with the alarm, central locking or general electrical system.

It’s not the car alarm…the beeping noise to warm you I mean

Ah right I understand now. Apologies. I've had the issue of the alarm going off when the doors unlocked but due to central locking issues.
