Dr-x Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Evening all, is anyone aware of any products that can repair the clear coat which has been damaged by bird馃挬
Magnet Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Hello Anthony, Farecla G3 cutting compound -used sparingly with some spayed- on water should make a difference. Then finish off by wax polishing 聽the affected, and surrounding area.聽 Problem is the G3 may not be available in an economically small size.聽 You could find a local detailer, and entrust the job to them. Kind regards, Gareth.聽
Dr-x Posted May 30, 2022 Author Posted May 30, 2022 Ok thanks Gareth , The old man has some I鈥檒l have a go on the weekend would you use a DA?
Magnet Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 Hello Anthony from the Homeland, By hand. DA s are for wimps! - you must be a youngster.聽 How long has this bird poo been on your paintwork Anthony?聽 Kind regards, Gareth.聽
Dr-x Posted May 31, 2022 Author Posted May 31, 2022 Hi Gareth聽 Been a while since I have been called a youngster 馃憤 I鈥檓 not sure how long the poo was on the car, I have just bought for my Son and my wife and I went to Bristol the day before we took our son to look at it, and when I was there with my wife I specifically asked them to give the car a wash before I came back with my boy , get there the next day and it鈥檚 still plastered in馃挬 when I said to the guy that I had asked for it to be cleaned, I was told that there was no point as if they cleaned one day that they would be covered again by the next because of the amount of Gulls that they had around them, most of the debris was removed with a wash but there鈥檚 one point left where it鈥檚 etched the clear coat and it鈥檚 rough to touch聽
