Ivory Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 (edited) Hi! Hopefully everyone has a good day. So my Audi A6 Le Mans, 2.7 Diesel, 2007 started to make a weird sound today. It’s hard to explain the sound, maybe grinding? The sound comes on only when I accelerate aggressively and stops when I ether let the accelerator pedal off or I maintain a specific speed. The sound comes on with a slight vibration throughout a whole car. Sounds like the weird sound comes from passenger side, but hard to say if it’s under the hood or wheels. Also- sometimes car works perfectly, sometimes the weird sound and vibration comes on, so it’s not consistent. Car works fine- no power loss or anything like that. I added to videos- I hope you can hear the sound. P.s. I know for a fact that driver side bearing is worn out, because it’s already making sound so that needs to be changed. But can it make an extra sound+vibration only when accelerating? IMG_1735.MOV IMG_1736.MOV Edited May 31, 2022 by Ivory
