RoyC
I tried this this morning on my 2009 A6 and it didn't work. see if you have more luck .... FOLDING MIRRORS Key in ignition. (no need to turn on ) Open hidden green menu .... hold CAR & SET UP In hidden green menu, go to CAR. Next ,,, CARDEVICELIST Find mirror and enable it. Exit hidden green menu ( HOLD CAR ) and restart MMI 3G system After reboot go to car menu, central locking, and you’ll find option to automatically fold mirrors. Turn on. Steve Q
I can't speak for the c6, but I know for the c5 you need a different wing mirror switch, the correct wiring harness and relay. I suspect the c6 will be similar to be honest

I suspect the c6 will be similar to be honest I have auto dimming, heated, folding mirrors on my 2009 A6 C6 and it didn't work on my car. This is like my mirror switch. I enabled mirror in the green menu but it was not in the central locking menu on the MMi

Steve, You know more about this sort of thing than I do. When it comes to modern car electrics, I'm lost. I'm just about coping with my laptop. 😒
