Mmi Radio and no sound

Hello

I haven't had a look further into mmi settings but I recently travelled through France Belgium Netherlands and Germany..When I left the ferry in Dunkerque the sound was gone.I thought no problem drive a few miles that you get out of port but unfortunately I did not get any sound in any of the above countries.I have check the station I could select all station in any country but the sound didn't returned.I thought buy a used amplifier but back in the UK everything works fine Do I need an update from the mmi.?

I'd recommend a diagnostic check, system reset or update first.
