MMI Module Broken Needs Fixed

hello all this is my first post so please be gentle lol ...... my MMI is broken nothing works it needs replacing, i know audi want thousands to fix it.... they want £500 just to have a look, replacement is roughly £1000 and ive heard horror stories about the cost of getting them coded to the car...  

ive had all the ODB computars connected to it no one can identify the problem , seems theres no communication between the MMI and the ignition .... when i try and change the car settings the module says switch the ignition on to change these settings but the car is already running.

anyone got any ideas to solve this or point me in the right direction to get fixed/replaced somewhere
