Kim666kim Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Hi, hope someone can help. May seem trivial but important that I can "hear" that I have locked my car. The car "beeped" every time since I purchased when locking/unlocking but, it went into Audi to have the SD Card for the satnav and, ever since, has remained silent! I asked Audi why they disabled the functions and they argued with me that "Audi's never have an audible sound when locking/unlocking" !!!! I have looked at Youtube and similar, but cannot get the right "functions" to appear when pressing "car" "settings." Any joy anyone?? HELP! Thanks so much
Magnet Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Hello Kim, Don’t quote me, but my understanding with most marques is that the locking/unlocking is silent except for the sound of the lock action. Most systems will bleep when it detects an issue - such as a not completely shut door - but not when everything is working properly. I guess it might be possible to code in a bleep when properly locked if requested, but wouldn’t be certain on that. Kind regards, Gareth.

It is weird how it has always done it but not doesn't, but thanks anyway, much appreciated Best wishes
