j399 injection pump problem

hi all i have a 2002 audi a6 c5 2.5 tdi quattro that is now in limp mode and says signal loss to injection pump and am told this will cost me up to £1500 to fix does anyone know a cheaper fix for it as i love the car but that is way to much thanks

I'd recommend a second opinion. Also if you need a new turbo you're better off getting a genuine one instead of a cheap aftermarket one. As they break easily.
