Number plate light not working

Hi there! I've got an issue with my number plate light! It just not working i tried changing all sorts of bulbs and even changed whole new patr but it still not working. Any ideas why?

Hello Aigars,

You really need a meter to check voltages/continuities rather than just changing bits and pieces ( except perhaps bulbs and fuses). We take it you’ve checked the associated fuse-? , but probably on the same circuit as the side lights, so no need - but consult to handbook for confirmation.
It would be worth pulling back the covering off the harness that links the body to the tailgate/ boot, to check for any wire breakages - a common issue point.
