azi1z92 Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Hi Guys, I had a new clutch put in about 3 months ago and my gearbox serviced about 7 months ago. My car is acting like it doesn't know what gears to pick at any point you try to put your foot down? I took it to a garage and they said its an intermittent error - P173A – Position sensor 1 for gear selector, implausible signal I have shipped it to ECU Testing and they have said there is nothing wrong with the unit and it has passed its tests. They say It might be a sensor issue to fix, has anybody heard of this before? Best wishes,

Since then I took out my mechatronics unit and shipped it off to ECU testing to see if they could fix it. They say there is nothing wrong it and it works as it should. Im starting to think either the magnets in the gearbox may have broken but I have no idea where to get those fork magnets from...
