Teddynewson Posted October 17, 2022 Author Posted October 17, 2022 Not much done today removed 3 studs off the exhaust as thay snapped easy enough job and found a little bit of carbon cleaner so started on cleaning the valve still not finished but it's looking good

Teddynewson Posted March 3, 2023 Author Posted March 3, 2023 Haven't been on for abit due to work and other things so started on the valves clean and cutting back in new stems are on putting the keepers are a pain to put back on got 12 days off so should put a good dent in it and if all goes to plan engine should go back in 1

Why is your the same as mine valve stem seals gone Steve, the scary part was doing the head bolts and the 4 cam shaft adjusters on the torque setting especially the head as it was 30nm 60nm then 90 degree and a final 90 degree

So gotta decide whether I'm rebuilding the current engine or engine swap

Teddynewson Posted July 5, 2023 Author Posted July 5, 2023 Engine now finished and back in the car having a problem putting the cat on drivers side gearbox lowered, and subfram, seems very very tight and not much room
