BRIAN05 Posted November 19, 2022 Posted November 19, 2022 How can I access the auxiliary heater on a Q7
Bigdave1230 Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Passenger side wheel off and remove the inner wheel arch liner. You can do tests on it in vcds if it’s misbehaving. Common problem is them locking on older cars and the fan randomly operating on them overnight and flattens the battery overnight. You can remove the fuse for it in the car if it’s causing a problem.
87red Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Any ideas where this fuse for the aux heater is located? For the Q7 4M etron in particular.
Faz786 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Passenger compartment fuse box #1 (left-side) A5 (located 5th from the right)0)A Auxiliary heater control unit -J364- it should be the only 20amp fuse in that row. Since I removed this, my car only drains once a year instead of every week now. Still have all other issues like lights blowing out and MMI stuck etc, but this did help.
