Flameboy
Hi all has anyone had to fix the heating part of the wing mirrors? I’ve got a 2016 A4 tdi black edition and the only issue is that the drivers wing mirror no longer heats up. Tricky fix? cheers
Steve Q
It could just be a loose wire for the mirror. Might be worth removing the glass to inspect the wiring
coupe4
i dont know if this is any help but an audi mechanic told me lately to always leave the mirror control switch on the setting pointing to the passenger side mirror.this turns off the heating element which prevents the glue drying out.obviously when you need to heat mirrors just switch to centre setting.greg. 1

Hi its only the mirror lens thats held on with double sided tape the backing pad with the heater element is soaked with a bonded resin which can't fail but the element inside can. Steve.
