Electrical fault drivers door 2014 A4 B8

Yellow warning light come on. Auto lock no longer works. Use fob and all doors apart from drivers door locks. Battery in fob new. Driver’s mirror also doesn’t fold in. Any help appreciated

I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be an issue with the drivers door lock module.

Hello David,

Worth checking within the flexible harness section between the door and the body A post. It’s not uncommon for wires to fracture within this section due to regular opening and closing of the door - particular in cold weather when the harness becomes  more brittle.
