Enormouse Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I'm guessing this may be a canbus issue, but I had a faulty nearside front fog light that showed up as a warning light on the dashboard. On inspection, the lamp had blown and melted the housing to the extent that the metal diffuser was dislodged, so I replace the whole lamp housing along with a new, correctly rated tungsten fog lamp. The system still reports a faulty fog lamp and will not reset. I'm grateful for any suggestions, thank you.
Enormouse Posted January 10, 2023 Author Posted January 10, 2023 Removed lamp, reconnected, canbus now happy. Ridiculous, over-complicated systems for the sake of it.
