Hi 

I have an a3 where the gearbox is playing up usually when I'm slowing down from 12mph downwards the gear change is not smooth. All other times it's fine. The problem started off just once in a while and is now becoming more frequent. I wanted to know can anyone recommend any places that deal with the gearbox around Coventry or West Midlands area?Thank you

Usually worth a gearbox oil change first.

I agree with Gareth, definitely do the gearbox oil change if not done in a while. You could also look to see if the gearbox software needs updating or a diagnostic check.ro see if any fault codes flag up. 

There's an independent Audi specialist in Wigston Leicester called Chapman's. I've never used them but they could be one of the closer Audi specialists to you.

Thanks guys the dsg service was done at approximately 80k it's now on 105k.

Hmm so in theory it should be ok and not need a service
