Sotereus Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 (edited) Hello there my fellow Audi enthusiasts, I would like to ask a question that hopefully someone can answer. I have a 1990 Audi 80 B3 sedan and I would like to know if I can change it to the Quattro system and if so how much would it roughly cost. Thank you in advance for everyone that has answered. Hi you would have to get a donor car or loads of parts most of which will probably need reconditioning, then there's the problem of mounting points as well as getting the transfer box aligned properly, cost wise it would be more cost efficient to buy a later Audi which is already a Quattro. Prime example my attempt to turn my MK1 Escort 1100 into a Mexico cost me two girlfriends and cash wise a good deposit on a house. Steve. Steve. 2
Sotereus Posted March 3, 2023 Author Posted March 3, 2023 I knew it was going to be costly but I still wanted to at least get a general opinion on the subject. The thing is that I love this car, the old-timey feel the quirky egg shaped look, the reliability and so many other things. I grew up with this car, learned how to drive in this car, I can't bear the thought of selling it and buying another car, I'm too attached too her.

Hi keep it as is and work it up to near concours condition and just enjoy it and the memories, if you start heavy modification it along with your memories will turn a bit Frankenstein. STEVE. 1
