2A2-1A6
Anyone had the following issue? car stopped suddenly and just about every warning came up in the dash. handbrake fault abs light esp warning steering lock fault car will not start now turns over but feels like no fuel is pumping. I’ve plugged in a fairly basic code reader and get error codes shown in photos. a local garage tried their reader and can’t get connection to the ecu. where do you think I should start? Thanks in advance. Tony.
Steve Q
Sounds an electrical.fault. How old is the battery? As old batteries can cause all sorts of electrical issues. Especially if the alternator isn't charging it?
2A2-1A6
Hi Steve. The battery is fairly old. I have had the car 6 years and it’s still the one that was in it then. However it does charge if the car runs, and holds a charge fine. strangely enough the battery gauge you have on the car multimedia display says it’s empty, even though it can turn the engine over for ages without it actually starting might be worth a try though. 2A2-1A6
Fixed it. Relay holder was sat in water and had dissolved.

2A2-1A6
Yep. There is one fairly central at the base of the windscreen. Fairly large diameter but enough leaves and mud washed down had blocked it. I’d recommend checking it ASAP.
