Brake problem

Just bought a a6 c6 avant

 Please see pictures 

 

I think I need to replace the handbrake pads but I’m getting all of this info

any help as I don’t want to go to the expense and time if not needed.

as I whole load of issues, like I said I have just bought the car.

Can you return the car to the seller to sort out the problem?
