Rear windscreen wiper won’t turn off

Could any one advise on why my rear windscreen wiper won’t turn off on my 2011 Audi A6 avant S line

I'd recommend disconnecting it and give it an inspection. Water may have got into it causing it to short.

i think steve is right,and from my experience the motor may need replacing
