shanejess
I have had the Q5 for a few days now it went on the ramp at a local Garage yesterday I had made a list of things that was wrong with the car before it had a health check up in the air. The things I noticed was the small cover on the nut of the rear wiper was rotten and partly missing the passenger door does not open from the outside the speaker for the reversing sensor does not work theirs a warning light on the dash for the headlights sorry forgot the terminology they move in my case they don’t when you steer their is a Engine management light on and the drivers door card is loose you can tell once you grab the door handle once inside to close the door. Once up on the ramp some good news some bad good news is the track rod ends look new and the rear subframe looks almost new and theirs no engine oil leaks the car has done 119,000 miles. The bad news is the transmission pan looks very coroaded new one ordered left rear diff seal leaking it needs a new left banana arm ordered. The car is booked in this Wednesday for a full engine service a gearbox oil change a new battery and all work to be carried out with all the parts needed car was put on a diagnostic machine with lots of faults But many being down to a poor battery 🪫. I then went to ATS to have 4 new tyres fitted which I had ordered on black circles I’ve had fitted 4 Michelin Cross over 2 tyres £1088 very good tyres in my opinion. I’m looking forward to having the work done and making the car as good as it can be for a 12 year old car.

Steve Q
You're doing the right thing being on top of the maintenance. You'd be amazed how many people cut corners on servicing
