Bose surround sound

Good morning. I'm currently in the market for a q7 (2014/5 model) but getting somewhat confused with factory extras.

Some say that the bose surround is an extra option. My question is does that mean the extra from factory has better speakers?

I have a good amount of questions to ask however I will stick with just 1 for now

Any help greatly appreciated

Bose is an optional extra from the factory. However some people question the quality of them.

All the cars I'm looking at have the bose surround badges on the doors but some of them say they have it as an extra. I'm confused

Vorsprung also come with a sub in the boot.

Brilliant sound quality, definitely worth the extra.

Collected my q7 Vorsprung today and impressed with the Bose much better than Landrover’s Meridian by a long way

Had my Q7 for nearly a week now and can honestly say the Audi Bose is in a different league to my old BMW sound system

Very good have a naim system at home and the Bose is the first time have enjoyed music in a car every other one was just noise 👍
