Govie Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 Hi all. I’m new to this forum. I’ve owned my 2017 A5 coupe 2.0tdi Quattro for a couple of years now. It’s a great car and I love driving it. However I’ve noticed it’s very tail happy in the wet, even at lower speed. I was quite surprised at this considering it’s the Quattro version. I expected it to be hard to get the back end out. I have lost all confidence in it staying on the road when it’s wet. I find myself always trying to find the limit when it’s wet, but it doesn’t take much. Has anyone else found this with theirs. Oh and it was brutal in the snow!!
Steve Q Posted May 20, 2023 Posted May 20, 2023 Tyres are the first thing to look at. Brand, tread depth etc. Is the quattro system working as it should? 1
Govie Posted May 21, 2023 Author Posted May 21, 2023 Thanks for replying. Yeah that was my first thought but how would I be able to check if my Quattro system is working as it should. It’s not long had its service form Audi so I would’ve expected them to pick up an error code if it wasn’t.

Magnet Posted May 21, 2023 Posted May 21, 2023 Hello Paul, Could I add the question of each tyre brand, and the checked and adjusted pressures you are running them at? What mileage have the shock absorbers covered? Kind regards, Gareth.
