Driving on motorway was all good until hit 70 and sixth gear, car then loss power, turned off and on again and was fine for a bit then happened again, the ecs warning light came on, can anyone give me any ideas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Whereas it would be possible to approach this from a ‘could be this, could be that’ approach -in other words guessing what might be the cause, the most reliable way forward is to have the car plugged in for a diagnostic check, for fault codes so you can home in on finding the issue.
