Alloy wheels

Hi everyone. I've just join the club 😊. 

Can anyone tell me if 17" alloy wheels will fit my Audi A6 C7? I've got currently 18" wheels. I want to fit my winter tyres 215.50.17. Any ideas?

I think winter wheels are 17" as is the space saver I believe so you should be fine.

Hello Marcin,

The overall diameter of the wheel plus tyre must come into this equation, so if you are fitting small diameter wheels, then the tyre profile must increase ( for the same wheel width). The object is is to retain the same overall diameter. 
There should be online calculators that will check compatibility for you.

Hi Gareth. Yes, you are right. I've spoken with my mechanic and he said the same thing. Thank you for your help. 👍
