I want to be an A4 owner so upgrading from an Insignia. 

I am looking for info on what to go for in an 18 to 20 plate, petrol or diesel, most reliable engine and with good mpg also what spec.

I have just changed from a 2.0D 180 Mondeo to a 2.0D 190 Ultra A4 Avant. I’m getting 62MPG on average in Efficiency mode. That’s about 7MPG more than the Ford. I do 5-600 miles a week so it has to be diesel for me.
