Recoding keys

Hello everyone,

I have a 2011 A1 1.4 TFSI S line S Tronic. It was a Japanese import and one of the two keys is not recognised by the car. Seeing as the handbook is in Japanese and the Google translation does not make sense, does anyone know how to recode the key to the car please?

You might have to contact Audi or an auto locksmith

When I needed a key coding the only people that were willing to help was main dealer or Timpsons who also offered a new coded key, worth popping in to your local branch and they might direct you to a larger branch
