I appreciate yours is a b7 but here's how to change it on a b8. Probably will be in a similar location if you've got the 2.0tdi.

Hi Steve Q thanks for reply sadly mine isn’t there, it is on the same engine as mine in the A6 but mine is A4 3.0 tdi some A4’s where the dpf is underneath the car it’s near in the transmission tunnel my dpf is straight off the turbo tight in the back of the engine I think like yours but that’s where the similarity ends don’t think it’s in the top of engine bay l suspect it’s down the side buried towards the back near where the DPF pipe goes down, the back sensor must be on the pipe down there was hoping someone knew exactly so when I was scrambling around underneath I could go straight to it.   Thanks again Sg.

Hi Sg here have found answers my 3.0 tdi b7 ASB 2008 has a built code 7NG and does not have a dpf does have a cat straight off turbo with pre oxygen sensor and post exhaust gas temperature sensor also another temperature sensor pre turbo has a secondary cat under car so because no DPF doesn’t have exhaust pressure sensors.
