Jon king Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 Hi everyone, me again, not having a lot of luck with my recent purchase of my 2007 A6 Quattro V6 TDI, driving home yesterday the diesel coil light started flashing after doing a overtake, pulled over and stopped the car went to start it again and no go, after a couple of tries I threw the towel in and rang AA, they code read it codes 2008 2011, he said it’s something to do with inlet actuators!, he pulled a link arm on 1 up and eventually it started , drove ok home, it didn’t start as promptly as it used to but went out for a short gentle drive this morning and again coil light flashing, got home and now not starting again,,,,,,,please help before I pull my hair out ( if I had any that is lol) they say things come in 3 so I’m errrr pooing myself for the 3rd challenge Thanks guys in advance Jon
Steve Q Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 Actuators are a known fault on this engine I'd definitely be getting those changed.
