Jamescolin Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Hi Audi Owners Question I own an Audi A6 allroad C7 2014 . when I run the car on highest suspension setting and then turn the car off exit the car, lock it and leave overnight the car remains the same in the morning . if I run the car below the highest setting then turn the car off , exit the car , lock it and leave it overnight ( or even just for 30minutes ) the car starts to slump in the rear and lower almost to the tyre . it only happens on the rear , it used to happen to the right rear only and slump to one side , it now happens to each side on the rear only . im puzzled … if it was an airbag leak then why doesn’t it slump when the car is in high setting position when left to sit ? what could this be ? Has anyone else come across this problem ? looking forward to hearing your feedback which would be much appreciated.
Steve Q Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It could be a level sensor? I'd still recommend getting the bags assessed.
K3v Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I remember reading this on another forum . some of the replies suggest a leak. iirc ten years is an approx lifespan of the bags, My one is 2015 and sags over prolonged periods but not yet over night . https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/180088-That-Sinking-Feeling-A6-Allroad-air-suspension-problems
