Simon Bailey Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 (edited) I have run carista on my audi sq5 2014 on diagnostic and it comes back with a few codes but car seems to run ok no lights on dash etc.One is 00457 vehicle system control module and 01592 throttle actuator control bank 1 range performance.I also have 03608 humidity sensor in fresh air intake faults.Do I need to be concerned about these and are they major fixes. All help appreciated I also have a sound generator actuator 1 00006 open circuit which probably means speakers gone Edited September 1, 2023 by Simon Bailey
Steve Q Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 They could be historic. You've done the right thing making a note of them. My advice would now be to clear the codes, drive the car a couple of days and see which, if any fault codes return.
Simon Bailey Posted September 1, 2023 Author Posted September 1, 2023 Hi thanks for reply I have cleared them and drove around in it they always come back the humidity sensor code never clears though.
Steve Q Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Hmm in that case I'd recommend you work through each fault. Also how old is the battery. A failing battery can throw up all sorts of electrical gremlins
Simon Bailey Posted September 1, 2023 Author Posted September 1, 2023 Thanks for reply not sure could well be the original battery only had car couple of months.I have read the module fault can show and be ignored if car running ok not sure what other faults will do to car though.Im struggling to find where each part is I have bought a repair manual pdf form but can't seem to find where humidity sensor etc are.
Simon Bailey Posted September 2, 2023 Author Posted September 2, 2023 I think I may book it in for end of the month got a week off then have them done.Does anyone know if the throttle control actuator fault a big job.
Steve Q Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 I've never heard of that before (ignoring the failing module). I'd recommend an Audi independent specialist might be best. Please keep us posted on how you get on
Simon Bailey Posted September 3, 2023 Author Posted September 3, 2023 (edited) Thanks will do it says on ross tech that if no functionality problems it can be ignored.Got a couple of independent specialists near me Dubshack and TCQ so will go to one of them it still under warranty so maybe able to claim of that for faults Edited September 3, 2023 by Simon Bailey
Simon Bailey Posted October 10, 2023 Author Posted October 10, 2023 Finally got car sorted today ended up being the intake manifold runner valves closed fault had it mapped out now feels like a different car 1
