cleansideup Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Had a new green warning light come on last week on my 2019 Audi A3. See photo. It's definitely not in the handbook! At first I thought it was an upside down oil can, so I checked the engine oil level and topped it up. Now I think it looks like a petrol pump hose nozzle and trigger. In which case perhaps it's a warning that the petrol filler flap is not properly closed (though it is). Any thoughts? At least it's only green and hence just advisory, not safety-related.
Magnet Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Hello Richard, Welcome, and many thanks for joining. A bit of a nothing answer I’m afraid, but green lights usually simply tell you something is on and operative - green is not a ‘warning’ light - more of an indicator light. What it’s indicating is active ?? Kind regards, Gareth.
